On July 16 and 23, an Afghan mosaic workshop was held in Vaudreuil-Dorion. It has nice to meet with our members and new partners on this creative and beautiful occasion.
This initiative was a part of the global project "Handmade- Afghan Women’s Traditional Arts & Craft’ Exhibition." The beautiful pieces created during both of the workshops were featured in an worldwide exhibition joining several countries, starting in Australia. The official worldwide launch happened on Saturday, July 23rd.
We thank Ms. Madeleine Turgeon, the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion, and everyone who contributed to this large effort.
