A reading course/book club for AWCM members will start very soon. In this class, participants will read books on different topics, and will also have the opportunity to share their opinions and their reflections. The goal of this class is to help stimulate their cognitive skills and promote social interaction. Reading and socialization activities have many benefits in promoting cognitive reserve¹ and slow down the effects of cognitive decline that occur with age. In addition, social activities promote self-esteem and prevent isolation. Topics covered: Health and well-being, prevention, mental health, lifestyle habits and many others. This activity is free and open to AWC members. Non-members are encouraged to become members by applying here. / Cette activité est gratuite et ouverte aux membres de l'AWC.
